Rachel McAdams: I was bad McDonalds employee - Hot News, Trends And Gossips

Rachel McAdams believes that her former employers at McDonalds would not rush to have her back should her acting career fail because she wasn’t very good.

The 33-year-old Notebook star revealed in the new issue of Glamour magazine that she worked at the fast food restaurant when she was younger but thinks she did a poor job.

The Canadian native is now a respected Hollywood actress, which is a great thing as her previous career didn’t work out so well.

“[I worked at McDonald's] for a good three years,” she disclosed. “I was not a great employee; I broke the orange juice machine one day.”

Although Rachel doesn’t think she would have won employee of the year, she described the burger restaurant as a “great place to work.”

“I had a little bit of an OCD thing with hand washing and just didn’t have time,” she explained. “They were like, ‘Hey, the drive-through’s backing up. Stop washing your hands!”

Rachel said she flipped burgers at the golden arches to help fund her lifestyle while she did what she truly loved.

“I was 16 and directing kids’ theatre, which didn’t totally pay the bills,” she laughed.

Rachel said that she “wouldn’t mind running a restaurant” in the future but concedes that she is “not an amazing cook.”
