Matthew Morrison thinks being an ’80-year-old granddad’ would be ‘awesome’.
The Glee star is currently dating singer/songwriter Renee Puente.
Things are getting serious for the 34-year-old and his girlfriend and Matthew is already looking to the future.
‘[Is marriage on the cards?] I hope so, the maybe working on kids. Who knows?’ he told British magazine OK!
‘I’ve always wanted to have children, but when the holidays are here and I’m around kids more, I’m like, ‘Do I really want a kid?’ It’s great to be able to enjoy them and then I’m like, ‘OK, bye!’ Although when I’m 80 years old, I’m going to want kids and grandkids. That would be awesome.’
Matthew starred in comedy hit What to Expect When You’re Expecting, which followed the ups and downs of pregnancy.
Although the film wasn’t enough to put him off having children, the curly-haired hunk admits his midwife father had an impact.
‘I grew up with him telling me about all these pregnancies,’ he recalled.
‘But he put me off sex for a long time, I was so scared! I think it was intentional, he’d come home with these vivid pictures of STDs and I’d be like, ‘Thanks, Dad!”
