Jenny McCarthy: I’m a great girlfriend - Hot News, Trends And Gossips

Jenny-McCarthy:-I'm-a-great-girlfriend

Jenny McCarthy would describe herself as “the best damn girlfriend ever”.

The 40-year-old is currently single and has a son, Evan, from her marriage to actor-director John Mallory Asher.

Jenny and John split in 2005, after which the model-come-actress had a string of unsuccessful relationships.

She is now turning her hand to presenting with a VH1 talk show that starts next year and the pretty blonde is determined to focus on her career rather than romance.

“One thing I realised in my past relationships is that I’m the best damn girlfriend ever. I put so much energy into my boyfriends and their needs,” she explained to Shape magazine.

“If I gave myself that same kind of attention, who knows where I’d be at my life at this point? So for now, I’m putting everything I’ve got into my talk show and being a great mom.”

The star certainly looks set to turn heads on The Jenny McCarthy Show as she has undergone a bit of an image overhaul recently, losing a few pounds and toning up.

If there is one person she is trying to impress with her new look, it’s Hollywood’s leading hunk Bradley Cooper.

“He’s my number-one crush,” she grinned. “I’m hoping he’ll be a guest on my show.”

The former Playboy model is known for her sense of humour and cheeky attitude.

In true Jenny style, her show will reflect her personality.

“I’m scared and excited about it at the same time,” she said.

“Because it’s for an adult audience, the producers are giving me free rein and have asked me to push the envelope, I get to be my true, dirty self.”

‘The Great Gatsby,’ ‘Big Shot’ and the American Dream

Though those of us who write about film like to believe otherwise, most movies don’t have a lot to say about social or cultural moments. It’s partly, as you’ll often hear, because films are the culmination of a years-long effort whose moment has generally passed by the time a movie actually gets to the screen.

Forget the softly lit sex scenes with Leonardo DiCaprio. Or the frenzied fighting fits with Joel Edgerton.
