Rihanna is ‘being drowned by thoughts’ as she takes a break from work.
The singer had a hectic 2011, releasing a series of singles and a studio album, Talk That Talk. She also travelled around the world with her Loud Tour and record bosses have decided she needs to recharge her batteries.
Although Rihanna was looking forward to relaxing at home in Barbados, she is struggling to switch off.
‘Waited all yr+Finally I have time off, time 4 rest n quiet.Suddenly all the silence is being drowned by my thoughts! No sleep #HEAVY #SCARY (sic),’ Rihanna wrote on her Twitter page today.
Despite being unable to sleep, Rihanna’s mood appears to have improved.
She took to her social networking page again a few hours ago to reveal a certain soul singer was helping to lift her spirits.
‘Jill Scott’s smile makes me so happy,’ she tweeted.
It was recently feared that Rihanna’s busy career had begun to take a toll her on her health.
At the end of last year it was reported she was suffering from ‘exhaustion and stress’. The 23-year-old star also battled a nasty cold and was heard coughing throughout a show in London last month.
She is believed to have made a New Year’s resolution to quit smoking and keep in shape to ensure she stays healthy.
